What's in my bag

It's been a while since I did my last post, there has just been so much going on in my life at the moment. Me and James have decided to move in together in September so a lot of time has been spent trying to sort out some where to live. We have found the most lovely apartment and I am so excited to start shopping for it and moving everything in to our new place. More posts to follow to show you all the lovely things I will be getting. Other than that my calendar has just been jam packed full of all sorts of lovely things mostly revolving around friends, family and different birthdays.

I thought I would do a what's in my bag post as I find these so interesting. Who doesn't like to have a noisy at what other people carry around with them on a day to basis. I can honestly say my bag is often home to a whole heap of rubbish that know one needs with them on a day to day basis. I have in fact just recently changed bags so for me it is very tame. My current bag is one I picked up for a mere £20 in the recent Next sale. An absolute bargain that I could not walk away from.

This is everything my bag currently holds and surprisingly for me my bag is not littered with receipts and crumpled bits of paper. They are the bane of my life and how ever hard I try they always seem to breed in my bag. As I only started using this bag a week ago the breeding of receipts has not yet started so I am left with all my handbag essentials that are easy to reach.

I always carry around with me my notebook, I got this lovely one for my birthday and I believe it is from Paperchase, it also came with a mug in the same style. I love my notebook and use it for everything from making lists, doodling to jotting down ideas I come up with whilst out and about. I have quite the collection but this is my current handbag one. My railcard is carried in every single bag as it is so important to me, I use the train a lot and often book tickets in advance, if I forgot this I would not be a happy bunny. The little sewing kit was in a hotel I stayed in recently, I've never used it but I always seem to carry it with me, just in case.

My camera is an essential part of my bag as I love taking snaps when I am out about, it's such a great little snap and go camera and has so far captured some great memories. I have two pairs of sunglasses (who doesn't need two pairs eh) both from Primark and cost no more than a couple of pounds each, bargain. The lip stick I have in there is my current favourite and I absolutely love it. It's so fun and summery but not too bold at all. It's Barry M shade 53 and I team this with my Balance Me sheer raspberry shine on tinted lip salve. It's so hydrating for the lips and as well as adding a gorgeous shine it also smells like fleshly squeezed citrus juice (I'm sure it should taste like Raspberry's but I don't think so.)

This little Mini car I carry around was given to me my boyfriend for my birthday last year. I really want a Mini so as a little joke he got me a toy one. I carry it with me as my two year old nephew is obsessed with it. When ever he see's my bag I just hear 'car car car' so I carry it around with me purely for him. I recently picked up these Pandora catalogues to have a flick through and they have some gorgeous new charms. I love my key set as well, it's so me they are defiantly girl keys. Hair grips, a mirror and a tampon are also a requirement in every girls handbag.

This is my bag, I have never owned a smart red bag before and fell in love with this one the minute I saw it.  It's so practical with plenty of room in side and pockets to keep things separate. It also has a clip on long shoulder strap but i rarely carry my bag like that.

This is another picture of a few things I have covered above. I have used my purse for a good few years now and it still feels as good as the day I got it. It is from Accessorize and is the most perfect purse for me. It has plenty of pockets and compartments to keep every separate and in order.

I hope you enjoyed reading about the treasures my bag holds, although they aren't the most exciting things in the word. Thanks for reading and i'll chat to you soon.
